ADAM CAST INTERNET TV AND CHAT ROOM INFORMATION

Adam-Cast is an internet t.v. broadcast channel currently broadcasting live cell casts of the American Idol 2009 Summer Tour! We are growing daily and expanding to offer "all Adam all the time" media 24/7. We look forward to following the career of Adam Lambert after the tour and throughout his future endeavors. We also support all of the "Top 10" 2009 American Idols and welcome all of their fans as we celebrate the fantastic job they are doing! Join us to participate in each of your favorite Idol's performance!

Adam-Cast is provided by a group of fans from various fan bases who’ve joined together to provide diverse viewers with live real time participation in the American Idol Tour concert in a fun, friendly, inclusive environment.

Adam-Cast will broadcast each tour shows’ audio in real time and video when possible, compliments of fans who have generously volunteered to devote their concert time to other fans. If you do not see the concert video you will see something else on the screen, either the live host, concert images or actual live video from the show. During the shows' intermission we have contests and other fun activities.
Stop by and watch our fantastic slideshow with over 200 images of Adam and the Idol Crew, friends, fans and fan art. Send us your photos and we'll work them into the slideshow!

We offer a viewer chat room. Enhance your experience by chatting with fans from all over the world! You must register to chat, otherwise you will be a Guest and able to participate in the broadcast without chatting.

American Idol fans, and especially Adam Lambert fans, are a broad group of people from pre teens to seniors with diverse tastes and personalities. In order to ensure the best possible experience for everyone, please read the following guidelines:

1. While it is our goal to provide audio and sometimes video access to the entire show and all the Idols’ performances, if the host or cellcasters have limitations (such as battery life or other reasons) we will limit the broadcast to fewer Idols/sets if necessary. It is our goal to ensure that minimally, Adam Lambert’s entire set is broadcast. So far, our casters have done a fantastic job and each show has been broadcasted in it's entirety.

Please set your expectations about cell casting! Cell casting means a fan is using their own cell phone to provide the audio from their seat in the concert. There are many variables that determine audio "quality". These shows are LOUD! The sound is not crystal clear as if you were there in person. The reception you hear is dependent on the type of phone, the seat in the venue, and the surrounding "noise".

Please respect the cell caster who has offered to stay "still" so that we can all enjoy and experience that is beyond the reach of most people who cannot attend a concert in person. We do our best to "tweak" the audio during the show to reduce interference as much as possible. Regardless of "sound quality" most of our cell cast fans and viewers have participated in every single concert this year and don't plan to miss any either! It's very exciting to hear the concertgoers enthusiasm and "feel" the foot stomping roar of the crowd before the Adam Lambert set! Our casters are very adept at knowing how to give you the best audio possible.

2. We encourage enthusiasm in the chat room but there are technical limitations on the site. Please be aware that typing too many or the same comment over and over quickly can appear like “spam” to the site’s software and bounce you out of the chat. You may have problems getting back in. If you cannot log back in you may have to re-register as a different user and/or use a different email address until we figure out the technical issues with istream.

Watch your cookies and security settings. You may want to change your settings and blockers if you have a problem logging when you return to the site after your first time.

If you experience buffering, fading or other bandwidth issues, make sure you close all your other browsers, clear your history and see if that helps your video/audio.

For the best reception, you should close all of your browsers before the show, then open one browser with just the channel. Then in a separate browser, open your other sites such as Twitter, other blogs and message boards etc.

Please do not attempt to run two copies of the Adam-Cast channel on one computer at once, you will experience conflicts and be disappointed.

3. While we appreciate “freedom of speech”, to ensure the best possible experience for viewers, the chat room will be moderated and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This includes a few simple rules that will be followed by all moderators. Please have patience while we organize our group to be helpful but yet not overbearing.

4. Moderators will politely warn viewers TWO TIMES. On the THIRD time, the viewer will be kicked out of the room. We reserve the right to immediately kick a chatter out of the room in the case of a spammer or hate comments that are obviously a “hit and run” type of posting.
Adam- Cast reserves the right to ban disruptive posters in extreme cases.

5. Moderators will not argue or debate with viewers. If a viewer or a moderator has an issue, take it offline. Moderators will also not monopolize the chat or control the discussions.

6. Language: No obscenity will be allowed. We are drawing from experience of previous chat rooms to determine what “obscenity” is. You should consider this more of a PG13 site not an X rated site. You are responsible for your own children's web browsing. Mild sexual innuendo and content is permitted to a point. Please use discretion. This means please refrain from:

Offensive language such as the commonly banned words on most websites
“Shock value” posts such as “I am XXXXing in my pants”
Extensive discussions of Idols’ body parts
Extensive sexual discussion or exclamations

7. All Idols’ fans are welcome here. Idol , viewer and fan bashing will not be allowed. This broadcast is not fan war tolerant. If you feel a comment is inappropriate during the chat, let the moderators do their job and handle it. Because there will be a preponderance of Adam Lambert fans, all viewers need to be aware that there will be alot of Adam chat and it will not be limited. But disrespecting other Idols and their fans will not be welcome. Positive chat about all the Idols is encouraged. We respect each performer and hope they do well in their careers.

8. Please refrain from political discussions, debates about sexual orientation, debates about religion. This broadcast is intended for fun not controversy.

9. We value diversity here! Any disrespect or hate speech to or about any individual or group of people is not acceptable.

10. Our chat room offers private messaging.
You can private message Adam-Cast participants by floating your mouse over a person's name and click the icon.

11. Tweet and be Tweeted on Adam-Cast! We offer Social Stream interfacing with your Twitter account. Log on to your twitter and you can click back and forth between the chat room or Twitter if you don't want to manage a seperate browser for Twitter during the show.

We hope you enjoy your time on Adam Cast

Please address any concerns to a Moderator in the chat room.
